Get treated
EHE Strategy
Treat people with HIV rapidly and effectively to reach sustained viral suppression.
Start HIV treatment right away if you test positive. (see listings for providers under the Medical/Dental/ Pharmacy section). People living with HIV who are successfully treated become virally suppressed and will live long, healthy lives with no risk of sexually transmitting HIV: Undetectable = Untransmittable (U=U)
Get PrEP
EHE Strategy
Prevent new HIV transmissions by using proven interventions including pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and syringe service programs (SSP).
Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), is a pill you can take if you are HIV-negative to reduce your risk of becoming infected with HIV. PrEP will NOT protect against any other STDs. You can get a PrEP prescription from a variety of places. Find a location that is most convenient for you.
