Grants and funding
Overview
As your King County Councilmember, I want to make sure that you have access to community funding opportunities available to local government and organizations in our District 3 community. Investing in our local government and non-profit organizations and supporting innovative ideas through funding will ensure that each of our communities are able to thrive.
If you have any questions about these opportunities or need assistance searching for grants, please email my Communications and Community Engagement Manager Isabel at Isabel.Smith@kingcounty.gov
Past Grant Opportunities
Councilmanic Grants
Each year, I allocate funding to community organizations, city and town governments, and tribal organizations in District 3 that provide vital services to residents. Past awardees include food banks, search and rescue units, human service organizations, farmers markets, youth service organizations, and many more!
Our District 3 Councilmanic applications typically open in March. To receive alerts about the application opening, follow my Facebook page or Instagram page, or subscribe to my newsletter. Councilmanic grants are intended to be a low-barrier grant with minimal application requirements, so I encourage all interested organizations to apply!
