The ordinance supports Land Conservation Initiative goals of preserving vital and at-risk open space lands in King County within a generation, and improving green space access in underserved communities.

This September, Amazon, the City of Seattle and King County Metro will fund increased bus service across Seattle and King County. In a new partnership with Metro, Amazon will fund 12,000 hours of increased bus service over two years on six of King County’s most traveled routes to downtown and South Lake Union. The City of Seattle will fund 20,000 additional hours annually, and Metro will add 62,000 hours.
