Public Health – Seattle & King County (PHSKC) is seeking proposals from eligible organizations to assist refugees and humanitarian immigrants through health education and navigation provided by Community Health Workers (CHW). A CHW is a frontline public health worker who is a trusted member of a community or who has a thorough understanding of the community being served. CHWs are an integral part of the community and serve as primary points of connection to culturally and linguistically appropriate health services. "CHW" is an umbrella term for many job titles and duties including, but not limited to care coordinator, health educator, community specialist, outreach coordinator, community advocate, promotora, case manager, and family aid.
This funding opportunity will allot up to $100,000 for one organization contract over the period from October 15, 2025 to September 30, 2026. The application may include sub-contracted partners, but one organization must serve as the lead or backbone contractor.
Pre-proposal conference
Public Health – Seattle & King County will conduct one pre-proposal conference for this RFP. This conference will be an opportunity for interested organizations to hear more about the program and to ask questions about the program and/or the proposal process.
