Accreditations and certifications
Our laboratory is accredited by the Washington Department of Ecology (WDOE) for a wide variety of testing methods and sample types.
In order to be certified to do these tests by the state, our laboratory participates in specialized performance evaluation testing. To learn more about the tests, please visit our Quality Assurance Program page.
- Non-potable (non-drinkable) water testing in support of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) projects, including Discharge Monitoring Report Quality Assurance (DMRQA)testing for selected permittees.
- Solid and chemical materials testing in support of NPDES, WDOE Biosolids Management, and Sediment Management Standards programs.
- Hazardous waste testing.
- Drinking water testing – using microbiological and algal toxin methods.
- Immunoassay – the analysis of microcystins (algal toxins) in support of WDOE and King County monitoring programs.
