Notice of Adoption: 19980
METROPOLITAN KING COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF ADOPTION
Ordinance 19980
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan King County Council (the Council) held a public hearing on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, beginning at 1:30 PM to consider adoption of Proposed Ordinance 2025-0268 (Ordinance 19980), an ordinance modifying the County's allowances for doctor's office/outpatient clinic uses in the Residential zones. The Council adopted this Ordinance at the Tuesday, October 7, 2025, meeting.
SUMMARY:
The Ordinance modifies the allowance for the "doctor's office/outpatient clinic" use to the permitted use table. It allows doctor's office/outpatient clinic uses as a Permitted use outside of the urban area, only in the R-24 and R-48 zones, as a reuse of surplus nonresidential facility, and where it is served by public sewer. It also exempts this allowance from the requirements in K.C.C. 21A.12.250 that otherwise would add limitations on the location of doctor's office/outpatient clinic uses and impose on-site parking maximums.
