Urban Growth Capacity Report
About the report
In 1997, the Washington state legislature adopted the Buildable Lands amendment to the Growth Management Act.
It requires 7 Washington counties and their cities to determine what land suits urban development. They also evaluate the capacity for growth based on the measurement of recent development activity.
