Before joining King County, Megan was an associate with Seattle law firm Williams Kastner where she specialized in representing management in labor and employment law matters. She is a graduate of the University of Washington Law School. As OLR Director, Megan leads the County’s work in strengthening our new total compensation methodology and works with our labor partners to ensure we are an equitable, innovative and fiscally-responsible government for our employees and the people of King County. Megan enjoys exploring Seattle’s bounty of arts, music and culinary delights as well as running half marathons in the Sonoma/Napa area.

Angela began her transition to labor relations in 2006 when serving as union steward at KIRO-TV in her former television career. She went on to represent workers at IBEW Local 46 for a decade prior to joining the King County Office of Labor Relations team. She served as a delegate to the King County Labor Council, Vice President of the Washington State Labor Council, and has negotiated several Collective Bargaining Agreements in broadcast, railroad, non-profit, construction, and public sector industries. She loves spending time laughing with her husband and two young boys, going on road trips, and knitting.

Sasha was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. A Seattle University law graduate and former prosecutor, he joined the Office of Labor Relations in 2009. Away from work, Sasha enjoys cooking, brewing, outdoor activities and spending time in West Seattle.

David specializes in collective bargaining with interest arbitration-eligible bargaining units, especially those in the transit industry.  He has worked in the Office of Labor Relations since 2001 and before that, he served as a labor lawyer in the private sector.  He is happiest when he is wearing his hiking boots.

Andre joined the King County Office of Labor Relations after graduating from the Seattle University School of Law in 2012 where he focused on labor and employment law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. For King County, Andre primarily supports labor relations work for Public Health and the Courts. During his time off from work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, snowboarding, and being active outdoors.

Lacey joined OLR in 2020 where she transferred from Metro. Her career in labor relations began 20 years ago with a highly unionized federal employer where she served as an operations manager, a labor relations specialist, arbitration advocate, and a labor relations manager. A Montana native, Lacey and her family enjoy skiing, camping, cooking and road trips to the beach.

James, a native of Atlantic City New Jersey, has been living and working in the Pacific Northwest since 1992 having moved to Seattle after graduating from Temple University in Philadelphia PA. For the past twenty years James has worked in the labor movement first as a Union Representative for SEIU Local 925 then as the Director of that Local’s Member resource Center. James continued his labor movement work with UFCW Local 21 (now Local 3000) as a Contract Negotiator, Director of Contract Negotiations, Benefits and Operations Director, and finally as Director of that Local’s Member Resource Center. He has experience negotiating contracts in both the public and private sectors in industries ranging from Healthcare to Public Education to Retail and Grocery. He has extensive experience in contract administration in those industries.

James likes to spend his free time with his family, especially his eight-year-old daughter. He can often be found playing bass guitar in garages around the region or just working in his backyard. Otherwise, you’ll most likely find him sitting by Hebgen Lake on the outskirts of West Yellowstone, Montana.

Nancy was born and raised in San Salvador. She worked for a labor union for more than 12 years representing members through grievances, arbitration, and bargaining in the private and public sectors in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, Oregon, Montana and Washington state before coming to work for King County. 

Nancy loves living in the west coast but has lived in various locations. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, jogging, swimming, and volunteering. She also loves hiking, backpacking, climbing, and kayaking.
