“I applaud the hard work of Allied Waste and Teamsters Locals 117 and 174 to reach a tentative agreement in their negotiations toward a new contract. Allied Waste provides garbage collection to cities throughout King County and this will come as welcome news to residents of those areas. 

“The public’s attention tonight now turns to the talks between Local 174 and Waste Management, and I encourage them to stay at the table until they too reach a fair settlement.”
