Attend the Airport Noise Study Open House

Drop-in event takes place on September 4

We want your input! Join us on Wednesday, September 4 for an open house at King County International Airport-Boeing Field (KCIA). This meeting will cover key information about the Part 150 Noise and Land Use Compatibility Study (Part 150 Study).

The Part 150 Study is a voluntary Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) process that identifies the level of aircraft noise in an airport vicinity and identifies potential measures to reduce the effects of noise on surrounding neighborhoods.

Date: Wednesday, September 4, 2024
Time: 6 - 7:30 p.m. Drop by during this timeframe to talk to the project team and learn more. There will be no formal presentation.
Location: KCIA Flight Service Station, 6526 Ellis Ave. S., Seattle
Parking and Transit: Parking is available for free in the building's parking lot. A King County Metro stop at Ellis Avenue South and South Warsaw Street, across from the KCIA Flight Service Station, serves the 124 and 60 lines.
Accommodation: Language interpreters will be available for Spanish, Cantonese/Mandarin, Khmer, Vietnamese, and Tagalog. To request other accommodation at the open house, please email KCIACommunityOutreach@kingcounty.gov or call 206-296-7380.

We have planned an open house format so you can arrive when it is convenient to you and review the project materials and ask questions of the project team. Materials and communications shared during this meeting will be available online following the event through our project website at KCIAPlanning.com.

Additional public meetings and open houses will take place throughout this planning process. We will continue to share information through our project website and via email as we move forward.
