Substance use disorder treatment and recovery

Resources for families and loved ones

This peer-led support network offers education, resources and support groups for family members who have loved ones affected by substance use. The organization is based in Massachusetts but offers online support groups, including a Spanish language group and a group for those who have had a death in their family and have other family members who struggle with substance use. - Support Addiction Recovery

Grief support
- Compassionate Friends
Resources and support for people who have lost a family member. Support group meetings are both in person and online. You can also request a packet of reading materials and resources tailored to your unique situation. - Dougy Center

A Christian based general grief support group with both in-person and online options. - TEARS Foundation
An organization that provides grief support services, peer companions, and financial support to parents whose child (ages 13-22) has died due to substance use or suicide to pay for a funeral and funeral assistance and/or grief counseling support.
