Developmental screening
Developmental and behavioral screening is a formal way to check a child's development using a research-based developmental screening tool. It helps parents, teachers, and medical providers to identify areas of typical development in children, as well as areas of potential concern or delay. When developmental concerns are caught early, children are more likely to receive the extra support they need, creating greater opportunity for school success.
