Event description

Join the Garden Hotline and the High Point Branch to learn all about seed saving and its benefits!

Saving your own seed will not only get you free seeds to grow next year but also seeds you know will do well in your own garden. Learn the basics of how to choose which seeds to save, when to harvest them, and what you need to do ahead of time to grow the plant to the seeding stage. You will practice dry seed harvesting and see a demo of how to do wet seed processing. You will get to take home freshly cleaned seed to grow for next season or maybe even fall harvest!

Registration is required. Please register by calling the High Point Branch at 206-684-7454.

Walk-ins are welcome if space allows.

Families are welcome; children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
