Ballfield and Sport Court Rehabilitation

King County Parks is addressing emergent needs at existing priority grass ball field facilities throughout King County Parks system. Work includes one or more of the following: subgrade/drainage repair, conversion to synthetic turf, fencing, minor or major court repairs or resurfacing, and ADA accessibility improvements. New lighting systems may also be installed, providing greater energy efficiency and safe, uniform lighting levels for the users.

• Mel Olson Stadium outfield conversion to synthetic turf – Construction is estimated for  2022 or 2023. Project Manager: TJ Davis
• Big Finn Baseball Fields 1-3 Improvements.  Work includes fencing repair at select location, dugout privacy slats, dugout gates, bullpen fence fabric, asphalt crack sealing, select trees pruning and removal at Field 1, and mow strips at Field 3. – Construction is estimated for 2022 or 2023.
