Internship and career programs

High school internships and career program - Wastewater Treatment Division
Paid summer internship for high school aged students.

King County Parks Youth Conservation Corps
Paid summer internship for local high schoolers. Applications open in mid-March. Interns will work with King County Parks & Recreation Division staff at multiple parks to better understand the breadth and depth of environmental justice, conservation, environmental stewardship, and parks and recreation management practices.

Dept. of Natural Resources and Parks Washington Conservation Corps
Service opportunities for young adults and military veterans to learn by doing and get hands-on experience in the environmental field.

King County internships
King County provides internships for fully enrolled undergraduate and graduate students that provide experiences in a number of environmental fields.
