King County residents have received fraudulent telephone calls from people claiming to be court personnel or police officers stating that you may have failed to appear for jury duty and there is now a warrant for your arrest. The caller may ask you to pay a warrant fine or a ticket. This is a scam. Do not give the caller any personal information, credit card, or banking information. The court nor the Sheriff’s Office will not call our residents to request money for a warrant.
