Family Court Services
For prompt assistance
The Evaluators and Conciliators in Family Court Services (FCS) assist the court by collecting information that promotes beneficial outcomes for children and families. We also assist the court by identifying risks so that steps can be taken to ensure the safety of children. We offer the following specific services to parents and custodians involved in Family Law actions.
We will accept documents for your Evaluator / Conciliator (but cannot accept working papers court hearings or items for your legal file.)
We can provide some limited case information outside the services listed below, but we cannot provide legal advice or assistance in completing forms.
To better serve you, we ask that you use our email address fcs@kingcounty.gov. for questions. Emails are responded to during normal business hours, listed above.
Questionnaires for FCS cases may be filled out electronically and sent via our email address.
If you need in-person assistance, please contact us first by phone or email.
