Proposed changes to Local Court Rules

In accordance with GR 7, King County District Court is making available for public review and comment, proposed changes to the following Local Court Rule:

• LCRLJ 56, Summary Judgment
  • Repeal of the rule - changes are shown in strike-through

30-day comment period: April 28, 2025, through May 27, 2025

The deadline to submit comments on the above proposed changes to Local Court Rules is Tuesday, May 27, 2025, 5:00 p.m.

• All comments on proposed changes to Local Court Rules must be submitted in writing
• Submit your comments by the comment deadline to Patrick Wells, Court Operations Director, at patrick.wells@kingcounty.gov
