Suggest a restoration project

Small Habitat Restoration Program

The Small Habitat Restoration Program (SHRP) and Drainage and Habitat Improvement Program encourages you to propose a habitat restoration project or drainage improvement. Please note that all projects must be located in unincorporated King, including Vashon Island.

To submit a project idea:

Review the Project Guidelines: these are a list of questions that can help you to determine how well your project meets the goals of the Small Habitat Restoration Program. These can be viewed online.

Contact the Property Owner(s): before submitting your form(s), we ask that you "screen" potential projects by contacting property owners to determine if they are interested in working with SHRP. This approach will hopefully increase property owner reception to the SHRP program.

Complete and submit the Project Application Form. We provide three ways to submit a project:

  1. Submit the project, using an on-line form,
  2. Download the Form (in Adobe Acrobat).
  3. e-mail or call 206-477-4790 to have us mail a form to you.
