Requesting Sheriff's Office Records
If you are a law enforcement agency, an insurance company, or other governmental agency, the Records Unit will be responding to your requests. If you are requesting records under RCW 42.56, The Public Records Act, the Public Disclosure Unit will assist you with obtaining records.

Inspecting Records
In addition to records being made available as copies, you may elect to inspect a record at no charge. The Records Request process (stated above) applies whether the records request is for copies or inspection.
Requests Via Mail
If you do not want to make your request on-line (via the Records Request link above), you may print out a form and mail it in to us. The form is available for printing here: PDR_request.
