Bike resources

King County encourages cycling through a variety of programs and initiatives that support connections between transportation modes, equitable access to parks and open spaces, and improved public health.

While King County Road Services does not produce a bike map, the following agencies and organizations provide maps and other resources for biking in King County.

• King County Regional Trail System – Bike maps and information on more than 175 miles of trails for recreation, non-motorized mobility, and commuting
• King County Metro – Information on combining bikes and transit, plus other resources
• King County Public Health – Bike helmet regulations, fitting instructions, and low cost helmet resources
• King County Water Taxi – Information on taking bikes on the King County Water Taxi
• Cascade Bicycle Club - Bike maps in the Puget Sound region 
• Washington Bikes – Bike maps across Washington 
• City of Seattle - Bike maps and other resources 
• Puget Sound Regional Council – Regional bike maps and planning information 
• Washington Department of Transportation – Bike maps, regulations, plans, and more
