Animal bites and rabies

Public Health — Seattle & King County provides consultation for animal bites and bat exposures. If a person has been exposed to a bat or bitten by an animal and may have been exposed to rabies, call the Communicable Disease, Epidemiology and Immunization Section at 206-296-4774. If a pet may have been exposed to rabies or if you want more information about rabies vaccination of pets, call Environmental Health Services at 206-263-9566.
