About the park

The 44-acre Stillwater Natural Area is located approximately four miles north of the City of Carnation and four miles south of the City of Duvall and is south of Carnation Duvall Rd NE, bounded by the Snoqualmie River and the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. The park contains a valuable combination of pasturelands, wetlands, and mature, deciduous forest cover that provides habitat for a variety of fish and wildlife species.

As an undeveloped natural area, Stillwater has no formal trails or amenities. Close proximity to the Snoqualmie Valley Trail and Snoqualmie River provides visitors with opportunities to enjoy the habitat that the Stillwater Natural Area protects and preserves.
