About the park

Hatchery Natural Area is a 23-acre park located on Big Soos Creek near its confluence with the Green River, immediately east of Highway 18 east of Auburn. It is also next to WA Department of Fish and Wildlife's Soos Creek Hatchery. Nature walks and fishing are possible at this park, although no formal trails, roads, or parking exist.

There are currently several native vegetation enhancement projects taking place at Hatchery Natural Area.

Parking is available at the hatchery at 13030 SE Auburn-Black Diamond Rd.

Trailheads

A gravel road road provides pedestrian access through the site to the creek, and a number of informal trails access different parts of the site.
