Green River / Duwamish Service Area

About

The Green-Duwamish Service Area comprises 675 square miles, including all of WRIA9 except the portion which drains directly to Puget Sound, which is the Central Puget Sound Service Area. Sub basins within the Green-Duwamish Service area include the Upper Green River Basin, Lower Green River Basin, and the Duwamish River Basin. Permittees with impacts to wetlands, streams, and buffers may be able to use the King County In-Lieu Fee Program to offset unavoidable impacts within the Green River/Duwamish watershed.
