Rural Forest Focus Area

The 2016 Update to the King County comprehensive Plan describes the Rural Forest Focus Area as follows:

Rural Forest Focus Areas are identified geographic areas where special efforts are necessary and feasible to maintain forest cover and the practice of sustainable forestry. King County shall target funding, when available, new economic incentive programs, regulatory actions, and additional technical assistance to the identified Rural Forest Focus Areas.
