Parks Division
The Parks Division has evolved from 150 acres in 1938 to more than 28,000 acres today. Our mission is to steward, enhance and acquire parks to inspire healthy communities.
Solid Waste Division
The Solid Waste Division provides garbage transfer, disposal, and recycling services for approximately 1.9 million people.
Wastewater Treatment Division
The Wastewater Treatment Division protects public health and the environment by collecting and cleaning wastewater while recovering valuable resources for a thriving Puget Sound region.
Water and Land Resources Division
The Water and Land Resources Division serves to protect clean water; restore and protect fish and wildlife habitat; reduce flood risks; manage stormwater; ensure the future of agriculture; conserve open space and healthy forests; and protect public health and safety.
