Contact an adult in jail

If you are a friend or family member of a person in custody at the Seattle or Kent jails, there are a few ways to contact them. There are specific guidelines you will need to follow for each contact method.

Send mail and email

To keep our residents safe and secure, we limit what kinds of mail we accept at our facilities. The fastest way to contact an adult in jail is using email. You can also mail a letter, but there are strict rules.

Phone calls

Adults in jail can make calls using our telephone service. People in custody can make 2 free phone calls per week. Incoming calls to people in custody are not allowed.

Visit at the jail

You can visit adults in-person at the King County Correctional Facility (KCCF) in Seattle and the Maleng Regional Justice Center (MRJC) in Kent.

Video visits

You can schedule a video visit from your personal device to meet with an adult in jail. Video visits are done through Securus Video Connect.
