Committed, collaborative, and compassionate animal care services

Protect your pet - get them licensed!

While we hope it never happens, sometimes a pet will get loose. Unfortunately, a cat or dog can't tell people how to get them home - but a pet license can.

Last year, we safely returned more than 800 pets to their owners thanks to their license. Hundreds more were reunited by finders who used our 24-hour phone number on the license to get in touch with their grateful families.

Your pet license fee supports the care we provide for more than 5,000 animals a year that come into RASKC. It also funds our work to protect people and pets in our community.

You can license online, or in person at hundreds of locations across King County. For more information, call us at 206-296-2712 or email PetLicense@kingcounty.gov.
